If you have visited our website recently, you may have noticed more recruitment technology appearing alongside our website and digital services. There is a reason for that, and it deserves a clearer explanation than a new image on the homepage.
Human Advertising was established in 2003. Over more than 23 years, the tools available to businesses have changed enormously. Websites, marketing, and software now play a part in far more of the working day, from the first customer enquiry to how an organisation recruits.
Our website needs to reflect the work and relationships shaping the business today. BeCareers and GetMeHired are an important part of that next chapter.
The ideas and specialist product expertise behind these platforms came from individuals whose work deserves its own introduction. We will share more about those people in a future article.
Humans’ contribution is the experience, reputation and business support around the opportunity. That includes the management, administration, coordination and commercial work needed to help a product reach the people it is intended to serve.
A working platform needs more than a good introduction. People need to understand what it does, receive a useful response when they enquire and have confidence in the organisation supporting it. Helping that happen is a significant part of the work now underway.
BeCareers supports the first stage of recruitment through short, AI-assisted screening conversations. It uses an applicant’s CV and the employer’s requirements to explore relevant information, then provides a transcript and summary for the recruiter to review.
GetMeHired helps people discover UK vacancies and reach employers’ application pages. Where an employer uses BeCareers, that journey can also include a screening conversation.
Together, they address connected parts of recruitment, each with its own clear purpose.
BeCareers has been in development for more than a year and is now operational. GetMeHired is live with a substantial job inventory. Our attention is turning to the employers, recruitment agencies, and organisations that could use them.
This is the stage where demonstrations and conversations matter. An employer should be able to bring a role and see what the screening experience looks like. An agency should be able to explain its workflow and discuss where the service might fit.
We want to make those conversations straightforward. Clear explanations and a useful demonstration will build confidence more than a page full of technical language.
Our website design, development and digital marketing work continues. Supporting recruitment platforms broadens the business and creates new opportunities to bring design, technology and commercial understanding together.
It also makes it important to explain our offer clearly. A smaller business looking for a website should feel just as welcome as an organisation exploring applicant screening or a more complex digital project.
The changes to our website are intended to make those routes easier to understand. Visitors should be able to see what we can help with, learn about the relevant service and find a person to speak to.
Our immediate focus is on developing relationships in the UK and helping organisations understand the services available today. We also see potential to grow further afield as the business develops.
That ambition will depend on understanding different markets, working with the right people and building relationships that last. Human’s history gives us a foundation for that work, alongside the specialist talent involved in the platforms.
We will share more as this chapter develops, including the people and expertise contributing to it. For now, we would welcome conversations with employers, recruitment businesses and potential partners interested in seeing BeCareers and GetMeHired in action.
