There is a point when a platform starts to feel tangible. People can visit it, search and find opportunities that are relevant to them. The conversation moves from what it could become to what someone can do with it today.
GetMeHired is now live, bringing together a substantial number of vacancies from employers across the UK. With the platform established, we’re focused on connecting more job seekers with opportunities and introducing the service to employers and recruitment organisations.
We want that conversation to be practical. Candidates can explore the opportunities available today, while employers and recruitment organisations can discuss how the platform could support their existing recruitment process.
GetMeHired lets people search by job title and location and explore vacancies across different sectors. When they find a role that interests them, the listing takes them to the employer’s application page.
That direct route is an important part of the service. Candidates can discover an opportunity through GetMeHired and continue through the employer’s own application process. The employer manages what happens after that.
Searching is free for candidates. The platform also provides practical guidance on subjects such as CVs, interviews and disability and work, supporting people as they prepare to apply.
A large collection of jobs provides choice, but the number alone cannot tell the whole story. For someone looking for work, the useful questions are more immediate: can they find a relevant role, understand what it involves and reach the application page?
For the organisations behind those vacancies, the question is how discovery connects with the next stage of recruitment. Getting people to an opportunity and understanding their suitability are related tasks, and each needs attention.
GetMeHired supports job discovery. BeCareers provides an optional screening conversation where the employer uses it. A listing on GetMeHired does not, by itself, mean that the employer has adopted BeCareers.
When screening is offered, the applicant can explain more about their experience through a short conversation based on the role requirements and their CV. The recruiter receives a transcript and summary to review.
Keeping those roles clear helps organisations understand what they are exploring. Some will be interested in the job platform; others will want help with the volume of applications already reaching their careers website.
As GetMeHired grows and its job inventory expands, we want more conversations with the organisations working in recruitment every day.
Employers, agencies and recruitment groups bring different needs. A business recruiting for its own team may want a clearer route from discovering vacancies to applying. An agency may be more interested in how screening could support multiple roles for its clients. A recruitment platform may want to explore a wider partnership.
Those discussions need to start with the process each organisation actually uses. We can then show the relevant service and discuss where it may fit, rather than assume the same arrangement will suit everyone.
Human Advertising provides business support and platform management, alongside the specialist knowledge behind them. Our role is to help turn that progress into a service people understand, use and want to return to.
For GetMeHired, the next chapter is about those connections: candidates discovering roles, employers receiving applications through their own process and recruitment organisations exploring how the services could support their work.
If you are looking for your next role, take a look at the platform. If you recruit, we would welcome a conversation about your organisation and what you need from the next stage of hiring.
